Selling

Preparation

One of my favorite parts of being a realtor is helping a family prepare for a move. It’s a big transition and you need someone who has the knowledge to sell your home, but also prepare you for any potential roadblocks that lie ahead. I break selling your home into a simple process that is easy to follow.

Whether you’re looking to change locations, upsize, down size or anything in between, you need a realtor who is prepared to handle what comes before and after the offer. We start out meeting at your home, going over current market conditions, expectations, questions and valuations. Gaining an understanding of the proceeds you’ll get from your home and what a listing agreement entails is a great first step into the selling process.

Get to work

Once we agree to a listing contract, going through your home and giving it a spring cleaning will not only help with eye appeal, but also when inspection time comes. Here are some common issues worth addressing when you go to sell.
This is also a great time to sort through some of that clutter you’re going to throw out when move in day comes.

The Offer

Your house is now on the market and you got your first offer! Breaking down the offer, understanding the details and watching out for things being snuck into an offer is where a good realtor comes into play. Deciding which offer to accept or which offer to counter can get overwhelming.

I’m here to help you figure out what makes the most amount of sense for you and answer any questions you may have.

After the Offer

This is where the fun begins!

Enforcing contingencies in the offer, addressing inspection reports and appraisal can be overwhelming barriers. If any unforeseen issues come up on an inspection report, I know the person to call, that it will be done correctly and in a timely manner.
